145 Responsible Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly experienced individual to join the Rex Group Engineering team as the 145 Responsible Manager. This role requires a balance of technical skills, people management and delivery focus, ensuring compliance, safety and quality standards are met.  

Reporting:

This position reports to General Manager Engineering/145 Accountable Manager.

Position Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned engineering base 145 functions for Rex Engineering operations, safety, manpower, costs, regulatory and company compliance, operational delivery, local HR/IR issues and Workplace Health and Safety compliance.
• RM may be submitted to CASA as Alternate Accountable Manager post holders to the GME at no extra remuneration. This position will require frequent travel to be proactive front line manager and understand local engineering base issues
• Drive continuous improvement within the business for safety & efficiency

Selection Criteria:

• Proven ability to lead and drive a close knit team

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines in a high workload environment
• Demonstrate leadership and contribute to engineering planning and discussions.
• Strong understand of CASA part 145 regulations and their application
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated or proven leadership capacity

The assigned RM ports may be adjusted to suit the location of the successful applicant and company requirements.
